Truffle

Truffle made his first appearance In the Times Beacon Records Artist Coloring book. He may even be getting a children's book of his own.

My Process

I happen to be a big fan of pigs. They are such smart animals, and have very expressive faces. Truffle began as an acrylic painting. I use a photo realistic style to create all of my work. When I was invited to be a part of the coloring book I realized I needed to simplify my process.

Vision

I took the areas of value within the painting and created a line drawing that would allow for large areas to color.
